Baiushki / Switzerland
BAIUSHKI is a jewellery brand based in Basel, Switzerland which has been crafting sculptural jewellery, locally and sustainably, from recycled precious metals since 2016.
Extracted from nature and emotionally captured with a clear aesthetic – organic shapes are inspired by perfectly imperfect nature: be it the soft riverbed worn away by water, the angular rock of the mountain or the form of driftwood, forms and shapes akin to small sculptures are derived from the creative direction of Lea Good. In their jewellery studio and showroom in Basel, Lea works intuitively drawing and shaping with her hands. The analog process of a collection finds its beginning, sometimes gently, sometimes quite abruptly - the rhythm of nature echos into the very way in which BAIUSHKI jewellery takes form.
Working with recycled 750 gold, 925 silver and fair trade gemstones produced with ethical standards, BAIUSHKI takes great care to create consciously with transparency.
