What Guides Our Curation
We curate with care and are drawn to practices shaped by responsibility to people, place, materials and ecosystems. Our selection is guided by a set of values that help us look beyond claims and understand how work is actually made.

We prioritise localised sourcing and production, with clear origins, short supply chains, and accountable processing wherever possible.

We look for living wages, safe conditions, freedom to unionise, and honest relationships across the supply chain – beyond certificates alone.

Protection and support of traditional skills and/or the ancient heritage of artisanal communities.

We value timeless, repairable design made for long use, with end-of-life thinking (disassembly, reuse, take-back where credible) built in.

We favour natural, organic fibres and pure materials, with a strong preference for regenerative and biodiversity-supporting fibre systems.

Animal welfare is non-negotiable. We look for mulesing-free or recycled wool, transparent leather origins and practices, and no harm to animals in the making process.
