Drawing inspiration from structures found in natural gold and silver deposits, Jodie uses heat and pressure to recreate these elemental textures. Each piece of jewellery is handmade, exploring the endless subtleties metals can hold, with a particular interest in the form metal takes when in liquid flow. Recycled molten yellow gold cast onto vintage and hand-prospected gemstones is part of her latest works of body adornment, designed for everyday wear with an appreciation for Earth’s precious materials.
